Furnaces
Bri-Ton services and installs many makes and models of gas and propane furnaces. Gas furnaces range in AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) from 80%- 97%. Most new furnaces installed are 92% or higher efficiency.

Furnaces are designed with single-stage, two-stage and modulating gas valves. Single-stage furnaces heat at the full rate of combustion while operating. Two-stage furnaces have two levels of operation 1st stage and 2nd stage. In the first stage, the furnace operates at a lower combustion rate using less fuel. In milder temperatures, 1st stage heating satisfies the heating demand. In colder temperatures, 2nd stage heating comes on after the 1st stage runs for a period of time without meeting the set temperature. Modulating furnaces operate and increase the level of combustion equal to the amount needed for optimal efficiency.
