Zoning

Balanced air distribution is essential for true comfort.  Some rooms too hot and rooms too cold are common problems in homes with one thermostat.  Hot air rises to the second floor and cold air falls to the basement.  It is not uncommon in these situations to see a 6-degree variance or more.  Some areas of the home may be subject to shade or direct sun causing different heating and cooling loads for different areas of the home. Multiple zones with individual thermostats for each zone can achieve the same temperature if desired or different temperatures in each zone if desired.  Most zoning applications work from control board and a series of dampers that control airflow.   Multiple zones in the home can be more energy-efficient than two separate systems.  Bri-Ton Heating & Cooling can provide multiple zoning solutions to make your home comfortable.
